There isn't enough room on this site or on any web site to tell everything that happened to us. Wish we could.
We'd like you to know of the kindness shown by people who had no reason to go out of their way for us. Like the lady in Cognac, France who hurried home to get her car because she didn't think we'd be able to find the laundry by walking -- or the bus drivers in Cartegena, Columbia who stopped other buses for us so we could transfer without getting lost, or the friends who appeared at our unfinished house without being asked, eager to help us build a home we could afford.
Here, in these few pages, we will tell you what we did, how we traveled and strongly advise you to not to lose sight of what you want, and need, to do. There were times when even our nearest and dearest knew, for sure, that we would never do any of the things we spoke (too often) about.
They are all sold now--the house 10003 Edgewood; the sailboat We Three; the canal boat Chapter Three. Our 3 feats are concluded. Would we do them all over again? Silly question.
So return with us to our thrilling days of yesteryear. We'd like to show you that anyone can do what we did and do it on a budget.
